DR. DAVID CHANG

Dr. David Chang is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in surgical treatment of spinal disorders. After graduating from Princeton University, he received his medical degree from New York University. He completed his orthopaedic surgical training at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases. He completed an advanced fellowship in orthopaedic spinal surgery with Drs. Robert Watkins and Lytton Williams. With his training under Dr. Watkins, Dr. Chang understands the complexities of sports related spinal injuries.

Dr. David Chang joined the Watkins Spine team in 2007.  He has been essential to the success of Watkins Spine. The three surgeons have operated together, discussed every surgical case, and taken care of all the athletes and patients of Watkins Spine to ensure the highest level of care.  

Dr. Chang is the past Chairman of Surgery Department at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital and an expert in minimally-invasive spine surgery, computer-guided navigation, and artificial disc replacement surgery.
