DR. GIDEON BLUMSTEIN
Dr. Gideon Blumstein is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in surgical treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Southern California, he completed orthopaedic surgery residency training at UCLA, where he also completed a National Institute of Health T32 post-doctoral fellowship training program in regenerative musculoskeletal medicine.
He completed his spine surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center & Midwest Orthopaedics, one of the preeminent spine fellowships in the country, with extensive training in minimally invasive spine surgery, augmented-reality and computer navigation guided surgery, and artificial disk replacement.
Dr. Blumstein then completed a hands-on neurosurgical traveling fellowship in endoscopic spine surgery at Rabin Medical Center in Israel and Iwai Hospital in Tokyo. His areas of clinical focus are motion preserving procedures, minimally invasive and endoscopic surgery of the spine.
